Brief Biography

CaiRong Zhao is currently a Professor of College of Electronic and Information Engineering at Tongji University. He served as a researcher at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, in 2016 and 2017. He currently serves different professional academic committees, including the Director of the Computer Vision Committee of the Shanghai Computer Society, Deputy Secretary-General of Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence of Chinese Association of Automation, and Distinguished Member of the China Computer Federation. He works on visual and intelligent learning, including Person Re-identification, LLM and Autonomous Driving. He has published over 50 top-rank international conferences and journals in the field, including CVPR, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, ACM MM, ICCV, TIP, TIFS, TMM, TCSVT, and PR. He also serves as the reviewer of more than ten AI-related international journals and conferences, including TPAMI, TIP, CVPR, ICCV, NIPS, ICML, and AAAI etc..

  • Applications of LLM in intellectual property
  • Multimodal Data-Driven Autonomous Driving

Currently research focuses on artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning, data mining, etc. Primarily focusing on fields including Efficient and Trustworthy Person Re-identification, scene text detection and recognition, intelligent classification of X-ray images, facial recognition and Applications of LLM in intellectual propertyand Multimodal Data-Driven Autonomous Driving.
